Editor’s Note:In light of the residence life scandal at the University of Delaware, the National Association of Scholars decided to take a closer look at other colleges and universities. Was Delaware an isolated case? We didn’t believe so. Numerous clues suggested that what Delaware was doing was—and still is—happening at other institutions around the country. And thus in December 2007 How Many Delawares? was launched. With the assistance of NAS consultant Dr. Thomas Wood, the ongoing results of our inquiry into how ideological indoctrination has been smuggled into residence and student life programs, which rightfully should provide students with orderly and safe environments conducive to academic study, are posted onwww.nas.org.
