In a statement that might have been more appropriately released by a Catholic bishop, a federal agency recently issued a ruling that the “public representations of Manhattan College clearly demonstrate that it is not providing a ‘religious educational environment.’”1The ruling was issued by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) at the conclusion of a hearing over whether adjunct professors at Manhattan College have the right to unionize.
